NIC 2005, I and my AIESEC friends.

Can you imagine a conference of nearlly 300 members?
Can you imagine having so many friends from all over China and even all over the world?

In the very begining, I was very worried about the energy it demanded to go by a 22 and more hours train. Even though we have the hard seat, everyone talks and laughs at the begining and then last till the end.

First day's arrival:
27th' Evening.
All the 15 members of us, together with Thomas showed a great dance among AIESEC's world. The song was from the pop singer, Leon Lai. Our dance was really great that it even shocked the whole conference. Well, James, one of our new members is the best dancer!

LC Simulation:

The 29th, Nov is our simulation day. On that day, I was being the first Facilitator expereince. It was really exciting that I could act like a mentor to 14 mentees who were all new members from other LCs.

Being a Faci was not so easy. This role requires high training skills including plenty of AIESEC experience, knowedge and game ideas. But, I found myself lack of the knowledge of AIESEC, but I will try my best to increase it!

Through this simulation, most of the new members were knowing the core work of AIESEC, the Global Exchange Program, and some of them were really exciting.

Global Village:

One of the traditional event of AIESEC, and this time it was even bigger!

We had Japan presentation, Colombia presentation which were really great. And, of course, this time we were well prepared to present the culture of Guangdong province, see our Guangdong Branch selling table. They are crowed with AIESEC members.

We really enjoyed the event as there were trainees from Japan, Columbia, Czech Republic, Australia, Slovania etc. Hooo........ It was really a very cool experience.

Room Party:

There was another very good experience about Room Party. Lots of people were gathering together in a single room, plaing their favourite game. I spent the night with my girlfriend in RUC (Renming University) AIESECers room and playing their favourite Kind Game. Frank, the Local Committee President of AIESEC RUC is one of my best friends in AIESEC. We palyed the game and he is always easy to be punished (Lucky boy).

Other AIESEC GUANGZHOU Members were staying with our CEEDer Thomas and Nankai's members and they all had a really happy hours!

My feeling of thie conference was really great as we experienced the culture of AIESEC as a very diversity leadership organization and lots of freindships were then be built up!

Thomas' EB Training.

It was in the middle of October, 2005, when we just finished our first ever recruitment. Thomas, our CEED from Humboldt University of berlin, was visiting us and give us help. It was really exciting that have a training with all the EB team. Thomas gave us a good lesson to let us know about the core of a team.

First of all, he let us to think about what are the charactors of a team. Well, you can see them in the picture above.

Furthermore, this workshop also showed us the disadvantages of our team and the the things we should improve.

We learned a lot from that day's training. And thanks Thomas again!
