Hong Kong NLDS2005
Well, this is Hong Kong's fellow AIESECers!
It was between 18th to 20th of November when the National Leadership Development Seminar was been held in Sai Kong, Hong Kong. We, AIESEC GUANGZHOU, sent 4 members, Jay, Jo, Vivi and Cindy, to attend this conference. The first time, that both members from MoC and HK, were meating each others and making friends to each. It was so fantastic for both HK LCs and AIESEC GUANGZHOU to know that we are so close.
Yumy Yumy, HONG KONG:
We attend this NLDS2005 in the camp site of Sai Kong, Hong Kong. The air and the sea were so clean that I had a very good feeling about this place. Alghoutht during the night it was a little bit cold.
Hong Kong OC did a very good job, they arranged a very good reception of us and they were considerate.
For these conference, all the LCs in Hong Kong, Hong Kong U, Poly U, Chinese University HK, HK Baptist U, U of Science and Technology, attended this conference and now they became to know the existence of AIESEC GUANGZHOU.
Roll Calls:
I have to say that the roll calls of AIESEC Hong Kong's LCs are a little bit specially than AIESEC MoC's LCs as theirs have no dancing and music.
Learning Network:
I have been very impressed by the external sessions of NLDS2005. It was really a good expeierence when we met and talked with mangers, CEOs and expeirenced leaders of companies and organizations. These fantastic persons include Ms Jane Lau from CLP Holding Limited, Andrew Thomson from Business Environment Council, Dr Glenn Frommer, Sustainability Manager MTR Corporation and etc.
I am really very appreciated about the workshop called Colloquium Privatism, whihc means that you will have the chance to talk with a very experienced person like Managers and CEOs. I was talking with Andrew Thomson, the CEO of Business Enviorment Council, and I was enjoying it because I gained a lot of expeirence and idea from him about manage the company and manage the life.
And, I found:
Hong Kong people are really very insterested in the culture of Mainland of China. It was the first time that I believe AIESEC is doing its great contribution to the world, specially between different Cultures.
For my members:
You have done a very great job! And now, AIESEC GUANGZHOU is just shocking the world, and now people from Hong Kong has known about us! And we will be one of the leading LCs around the world!
